Westlakes is a transitional accommodation service for young people aged 16-17 years who need somewhere to stay, while they look for a more permanent place to live. * The Links to Independence program offers accommodation options to young people aged between 16-25 years who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. These young people may be single, partnered, pregnant and/or parenting. A case worker is assigned to each young person, who works with them to secure a variety of accommodation options. This may include private rental, social housing, supported accommodation or other medium-term accommodation. The program is tailored to suit the individual as well as an outreach component to assist young people to achieve independence.
