Hunterlink Recovery Services was established in late 2010 to provide a vital link in the suite of support, recovery and welfare services available to the community and for workers and their families in the Hunter region. services include: Assessment and referral Addiction counselling Case management Individualised treatment Relapse prevention Engagement of family Transitional accommodation Group and peer support Drug and alcohol awareness Anger management courses Managing successful relationships Problem gambling information Financial management assistance Workplace supervisor education Employee orientation Programs include: The CASE Program: Community Access, Support & Education The CASE Program is a community based ‘harm-minimisation’ program designed to utilise an individual’s strengths, goals, interests and passions to enhance their financial, social, physical, emotional, mental and general psychological wellbeing. The CASE program will address: Substance Abuse, Problem Gambling and other Addictions Financial Problems and Money Management Depression and Anxiety Support Relationships and Coping with Change Anger Management and Communication Hunterlink Recovery Services will provide: Assessment and Referral Services Addiction and Mental Health Support Services Addiction Counselling and Education Case Management and Advocacy Participant Criteria for Eligibility: Adult, 18 years old + Assessed as having identified substance abuse issues The STAR Program: Supported Transitional Accommodation & Recovery The STAR Program is a community based service for individuals suffering addiction and related mental health issues. The program provides accommodation, education, case management and addiction counselling for the ongoing support of an individual’s recovery.
