TAD changes lives of people living with a disability by providing personalised technology, equipment and services.

In 1975 a group of engineers decided to use their skills to profoundly change the lives of people living with disability. Today, TAD’s core workforce consists of over 100 skilled volunteers who donate thousands of hours to designing, building and modifying hundreds of diverse items every year. Their core workforce are skilled volunteers who design and build custom equipment to help people achieve their goals. They work with people of any age and any disability.

 As a charity they keep costs as low as possible by working with our amazing volunteers, who give their time and skills for free. A quote is provided before any work commences.

They are a registered NDIS provider and can also help you connect with organisations that may assist by providing further funding. If you do not have access to funding our fundraising will subsidise the cost.

 

Area covered: From Morriset to Merriwa, Murrurundi, Gloucester and Nelson Bay. Including Cessnock, Lake Macquarie, Maitland, Newcastle and Port Stephens.

Calls should be made Mondays (9am to 4pm) and Thursday (9am to 12pm).
