The Welfare Rights Centre is a community legal centre specialising in social security law and its administration by Centrelink.
We can advise people about their social security rights, entitlements and obligations and assist people through the social security review and appeals system. That system includes Centrelink internal review, the Social Security Appeals Tribunal and the Administrative Appeals Tribunal.
The Centre also provides assistance to the community through community development, community education and training, law reform and lobbying. We provide all initial advice by phone. Please call our Centre if you are after some help with a social security problem.
Please note that we unfortunately cannot provide advice by email, fill out forms, or take on all cases for ongoing representation.
