The service will support and advocate for suspects/defendants, witnesses and victims of crime.

What will Justice Advocacy Service (JAS) provide for people with cognitive impairment?

• Support person for victims or witnesses of crime who wish to make a statement about a crime to police

• Support persons 24 hours, 365 days a year at police stations for people who are under arrest

• Legal advice will be available from IDRS community legal centre for people under arrest

• Support persons at legal appointments

The C-Pen Exam Reader pen scanner is a major technological breakthrough for anyone wanting to read English, Spanish, French, Italian and German exam questions. The C-Pen Exam Reader is a totally portable, pocket-sized device that reads text aloud with an English, Spanish, French, Italian and German human-like digital voice.

Accessibility in the city

Accessibility in the City was founded in 2016 when it was identified there was a need in the market to better support those with accessibility issues and assist by providing a mapping and navigation tool.

Accessibility in the City's goal is for all to be empowered to easily pre-plan and navigate on the move, making decisions that will best allow our users to access the community in which they live or seek to venture in. People with accessibility issues can feel vulnerable and anxious when going to a new location and like to seek knowledge on their surroundings before arriving.

The Wolf Pack Foundation

The Wolf Pack Foundation has been started by a small group of Australians and New Zealanders with Wolfram Syndrome, their families and supporters. The aims of the foundation are to raise funds to provide support for people with Wolfram and to make a contribution to efforts to develop drug therapies and eventually a cure for this disorder. Along the way we hope to raise awareness in the broader community about Wolfram and its impacts.
